  • The Progress Valley Women's Program focuses on the unique needs of women as they take the next steps in their recovery. Our approach is women-centered and incorporates the experience and knowledge of women in recovery. This means issues concerning relationships, self-esteem, sexuality, health, spirituality, and trauma are dealt with in an understanding, compassionate and empathetic manner in a safe and nurturing community environment. Our goal is to empower each woman to make positive changes in her life.

    Specific women-centered support groups:

Recovery Yoga - stresses that working with the body changes one's state of mind, developing a quality of being that spills over into the rest of life.

Creative Expression - a weekly group that employs a wide variety of expressive techniques to assist women in moving through obstacles such as anxiety, grief, trauma and depression.

Eating Disorder Group - a weekly group addressing the specific needs of those women in recovery who are also struggling with the effects of an eating disorder.
